Sulphate of Potash (SOP) provides 50% K₂O and 18% sulphur without any chloride. The preferred potassium source for chloride-sensitive crops and export-grade fruit production.
Unlike Muriate of Potash (MOP/KCl), SOP does not contain chloride ions that reduce fruit quality, lower Brix, cause leaf tip burn and reduce shelf life. Standard for grape, potato, tobacco, citrus and all chloride-sensitive crops.
The sulphur component (18% S) addresses increasingly common sulphur deficiency in Indian soils — sulphur is essential for amino acid synthesis, enzyme activation and glucosinolate metabolism. SOP simultaneously addresses K and S nutrition in a single application.
