Seaweed Extract from Ascophyllum nodosum is produced by cold-process (non-thermal) extraction, preserving the full spectrum of bioactive compounds including natural cytokinins, alginates, mannitol, betaines, amino acids, and trace minerals. Cold processing is critical — high-temperature extraction destroys the biological activity of cytokinins and growth hormones.
Natural cytokinins in seaweed extract stimulate cell division, delay senescence (leaf yellowing and drop), promote bud break and lateral shoot growth, and enhance nutrient absorption through increased root surface area development. Alginates improve soil water retention and aggregate stability. Betaines protect cells against osmotic stress (drought and salinity).
