Fulvic Acid 95% is the low-molecular-weight (< 1000 Da) fraction of humic substances, purified to 95% concentration. The small molecular size of fulvic acid allows it to penetrate plant cell membranes (unlike humic acid, which cannot cross intact membranes), making it uniquely effective as a foliar biostimulant.
Fulvic acid's primary mode of action at the plant level: it forms fulvate-metal complexes with applied micronutrients that are absorbed through the leaf cuticle, dramatically improving the effectiveness of foliar micronutrient sprays; it activates plasma membrane H⁺-ATPase enzymes that drive nutrient uptake across root membranes; it stimulates root and shoot growth through interaction with auxin metabolism; it improves photosynthesis and chlorophyll content through effects on carbon and nitrogen metabolism.
Unlike humic acid, fulvic acid is soluble at all pH values — it does not precipitate in acidic conditions and is compatible with virtually all agrochemicals.
